Emmett is one of our past CKC registered studs. He was our one & only outdoor Dachshund (his choice, trust me, he HATED indoors). Sadly, Emmett unexpectedly crossed the rainbow bridge in 2019.
Hershey was neutered & found the perfect pet family! Sadly, he was not a good fit for our breeding program.
Koko was spayed after her first litter born in Decemeber of 2017. Sadly, she produced hernias, and we do not allow any form of genetic defect to be in our lines. Koko is our princess, and she will never leave our home. She is here for life!
Though purchased for breeding, we determined Chelsea was a better fit as a pet. Chelsea came to us malnourished, neglected, and scared of EVERYTHING. After 2 years, Chelsea finally became truly trusting of us, and she is becoming more trusting of strangers as well. We feel Chelsea should never have to go through the fear of a new family, so she is here for life.
Sweetie was the true start of Red Barn Farms Minis. She was spayed due to retained afterbirth that had caused an infection in her uterus. The vets tried to treat, but it was determined that a full spay would be the safest course of action for Sweetie. She now lives with my brother in Indiana.
Callie has raised her final litter in fall of 2019. She will be spayed early 2020. As of current plans, Callie will not be leaving us. Callie is our easiest going dog; feed her & let her sleep and she is perfectly fine! Callie actually went to live with our best friend in Feb 2023! We see her usually atleast once a week, and when her new family goes on vacation, we get to baby sit her. :)
Delilah was the first official purchase for Red Barn Farms Minis so parting with her was definitely bitter sweet. She has a wonderful home with her new dad & fur sibling (cat) so we couldn't be happier!
Piper was probably the hardest one to date to part with! But I know I cant keep them all (no matter how bad I want to).. Piper has always loved everyone, and she never specifically chose her "one person" here - I just figured she wasn't particular and loved everyone who loved her. But immediately at pickup she chose HER PERSON! Its crazy to think that had we kept Piper for life.. she would have never met her person to make her life complete.
Wiley was our first AKC stud at RBFM! He sired so many beautifully babies here that have gone on to fill many homes with love & joy! His genes continue to shape our program through his offspring with many generations! We have his granddaughters as breeders, and hopefully we will continue his legacy on with many more generations!
Bandit officially retired and is living the pet life with his new family! We do have some of Bandit's offspring to be able to continue on his legacy!
Linzee was actually Wiley's first offspring that we kept back! Linzee's birth was definitely one for us to remember forever .. she was stuck, tongue hanging out, blue, etc.. we thought for sure she was a goner.. BUT NOPE! She came out crying. She took after her daddy's genetics, but received her mama's color. Sadly Linzee liked to pass that big head gene down so when she ended up having a c-section, we had her spayed then as well. She is actually living the best pet life with her nephew! We have Linzee's daughter, Fergie, for a future breeder .. hopefully she didnt get the big head gene LOL.
Kewpie has retired to the life of luxury! She joined a family that already has a puppy from us, and we even get doggy daycare updates from her family!
Denim was a hard one to let go of! She actually lives with her aunt, Izzie, which was alsoa retired breeder.
Seelie actually stayed in the same town! We run into her new family often since its a small town. Seelie found her favorite human which is the family's daughter.
